    Ziele

Pursuing an academic career involves some risks and uncertainties. In the course of the postdoc phase, the decision is made whether to continue the career until professorship or another permanent position or to leave the academic system. There are many fears about this step, as often no alternative career paths to the science system have been found or tried before.
The workshop will deal with the question of which career paths are possible.

    Kursinhalte

    The following topics are discussed:
    - What are the work and career opportunities? An overview of the academic and non-academic job market.
    - Which job suits me - how do I find relevant positions based on my skills and abilities?
    - What steps do I need to take to find the right career for me? And when should I take these steps?
    - How do I find out what I want - clarify my career and life goals.
