    Ziele

After working for weeks, months and sometimes years on your content, the deciding moment is when you present your findings to an audience. Live-Presentation is very different from a written text: You want to appear authentic, competent and clear and over all fascinate your audience with your story.
In this workshop, we will work on the challenge to combine the different ingredients that create personal contact, clear relevance and a positive status and importance for your audience.

    The participants
    • understand how they can complement their competence of appearance and use not only verbal but also nonverbal and paraverbal means deliberately to strengthen assertiveness and fascinate their audience
    • know how to transform information into a captivating and structured story
    • get a lot of opportunities to exercise and profit from individual (video) feedback by the experienced trainer and their peers

    Kursinhalte

    • How to start a presentation and connect with your audience.
    • How to work on your personal competence of appearance and assertiveness.
    • How to create interest by using a keynote and with this answer your audience’s main question — “What is it all about?” — early on.
    • How to use different elements of verbal, nonverbal and paraverbal tools to reach, engage and fascinate your audience.
    • How to turn information into a story — and how to rehearse your story.
    • How to build an argument with the best rhetorical structures.
    • How to give spontaneous statements that have an impact.

You are invited to work on an actual presentation on your core topics.
