(Re-)Thinking Leadership (26H02002)

Description

In this workshop we will examine critically what leadership means in contemporary academic and organizational contexts. It invites participants to question established notions and their own assumptions around leadership and explore alternative ways of organizing collaboration and influence beyond formal hierarchies. Rather than offering a fixed recipe for “good leadership”, the workshop creates space to look at the strengths but also tensions, paradoxes and blind spots of traditional leadership models as well as newer ones (like, for instance, shared/distributed leadership).

The format combines theoretical inputs with group discussions and reflective exercises. Participants broaden their understanding of leadership, gain language and concepts to articulate their own leadership challenges and identify practical approaches to try out in their everyday work. The workshop is particularly suitable for those who are skeptical of conventional “heroic leader” narratives and are looking for reflective and ethical ways to co-create inclusive organizational cultures.
