Modern Lectures: Flipped Classroom and Other Ideas that Activate Learners (24F05020) ONLINE

Description

Classes that consist mostly of lengthy presentations by the lecturer don't match the needs of today's students, nor those of instructors. But the lecture still persists as a class format in higher education. This courses will show you how to create active and engaging lectures, both in-person and virtually. The flipped classroom is a prime example of a modern, interactive lecture format.

Requirements for a certificate of completion:
-Proof of performance: elaboration and timely submission of a concept for a concrete lesson or lecture ((as a requirement for the participation at the class)
-Attend at least 80% of workshop sessions

In order for the course to be recognized as part of one of the Higher Education Certificates, the confirmation of participation as well as the proof of performance including feedback and impulses from the discussions in the course must be collected in a teaching portfolio (a template for the teaching portfolio is provided on ADAM)

Dieser Kurs wird auch in Deutsch durchgeführt unter dem Titel: Lernförderliche Vorlesungen gestalten
