Do you want to be prepared for your job interview and to build self-confidence for this important situation? In this workshop, participants will learn how to increase the likelihood of obtaining a job interview, how to prepare for the interview, how to excel in the moment of the interview, and how to follow-up after a job interview.

This workshop focuses on two aspects of the job interview. In the first section of this course, we will cover relevant aspects before the interview. In the second section, we will concentrate on the interview itself by practicing this situation. By the end of the course, participants will have developed a toolbox that they can apply to their next job interview. Although the emphasis of the workshop will be on job interviews in an academic context, participants interested in applications outside of academia are equally invited to participate.

On the one hand, the workshop will provide content-based information about job interviews. On the other hand, the format of the workshop is interactive and hands-on. Participants are invited to get actively involved in the course and to practice newly learned principles.
