    This event will give an overview about career funding opportunities in the European and Swiss research funding programs for current and future PhD candidates and Postdocs. The overall aim of this two-hour session is to provide information about fellowships which allow you to enhance your scientific profile in Switzerland or abroad and to give first insights into the main opportunities for career funding at different stages of a researcher career by experts of the University of Basel (Nachwuchsförderung, EUresearch, Grants Office).

    • Short presentation by experts of the Nachwuchsförderung and EUresearch

    1.5 h information followed by a session for questions.


    Registrations will be processed according on a “first come, first served” principle. The course registration will be confirmed by email. The registration to a course makes the participation in the full training mandatory. A course can be cancelled up to five working days before its scheduled date (send an email to Participants failed to attend a course for which they registered, remaining absent form a course without an excuse or cancel less than five working days in advance will be excluded from the transferable skills programme for the following semester.
