(Re-)Thinking Management (26H02002)

Description

In this workshop we will explore various layers and aspects of the topic of how to lead oneself and foster/protect one’s mental wellbeing. Different philosophies of self-management and self-leadership with their respective advantages but also their traps will be considered. Classical self-management approaches like time-management methods or productivity tools certainly have merits; however, to realize their potential, engagement with more foundational levels of self-leadership is often required. The workshop offers an opportunity for participants to reflect together with other antelope alumnae on how to stay sane while pursuing their professional and personal ambitions. We will consider classic challenges of academic (and other) careers and there will also be space for participants to shape the workshop agenda with their specific interests and self-leadership goals.
