  1. Installation:
    Installation of Zotero on Windows, Mac or Linux environment.
    Installation of a plug-in for word processing programs

  2. Collecting literature
    Acquiring literature references and other types of media from catalogs, databases and the internet

  3. Organizing
    Creation of collections
    Note function
    Tags

  4. Writing texts
    Inserting citations and images and creating the corresponding bibliography

New in version 6:
Annotation and note function in the integrated pdf reader and direct transfer of notes into the text
