    Aims

LinkedIn is a powerful tool for managing your career, professional network, and visibility. As a digital profile is often the first impression you make, it is important to have a current, complete and curated profile that aligns with your professional goals.
This workshop will guide you through the steps to craft a coherent profile that stands out in a competitive environment. You will also learn systematic methods for searching, connecting, and sharing to maximise the platform's potential.

    Content

    ● Master a step-by-step audit of your profile to create a profile so that people immediately understand how you can help them.
    ● Write using active and industry language to transmit your value to users beyond academia.
    ● Learn how to network without the “ick” and build relationships.
    ● Scale visibility from your profile to interacting and posting.
    ● Build a realistic routine that gets you noticed and still allows time to work.

    Methods

The workshop will take place in two sessions.
The first session will audit profiles against current best practices in each section to establish a priority list to focus on what creates the greatest impact first. Tasks will be completed between workshops.
The second session starts with peer review to help you see your own value through someone else's eyes, building clarity of message, and confidence in content and tone. The session concludes with practical tips and tricks to use LinkedIn effectively to reach your professional goals.
