    Aims

Do you want to be prepared for a job interview? Do you want to build self-confidence for this important situation? In the workshop, participants will learn how to prepare their application material, how to increase the likelihood of obtaining a job interview, how to excel in the moment of the interview, and how to follow-up after a job interview.

    Content

This workshop focuses on two aspects of the job interview. In the first section, we will cover relevant aspects that take place before the interview, such as preparing the application material. In the second section, we will concentrate on the interview itself by practicing this situation. By the end of the course, participants will have developed a toolbox that they can apply to their next job interview. Although the emphasis of the workshop will be on job interviews in an academic context, participants interested in applications outside of academia are equally invited to participate.

    Methods

The workshop will provide content-based information about job interviews. At the same time, the format of the workshop is interactive and hands-on. Participants are invited to get actively involved in the course and to practice newly learned principles.

    Target Group
